Kevin Bartlett

Drums have been a way of life for Kevin since the age of 11 after he borrowed a neighbours drum kit and started playing along to the likes of Metallica, Megadeth and Iron Maiden. Since those early day's kevin's musical tastes and influences (whilst staying firmly rooted in metal) have widened to include Jazz, Fusion, Latin and Reggae. kevin is quick to acknowledge the drummers who have had the biggest impact on his playing and cites drum luminaries such as Neil Peart, Billy Cobham, Stewart Copeland, Simon Phillips, Vinnie Colouita, Steve Gadd, Mike Portnoy, Dave Wekl, Vinnie Paul (Pantera) and Charlie Benante (Anthrax). Although a huge fan of technical playing Kevin has also appeared as a session player on various pop/alternative rock and folk recordings as well as being UK instrumental guitarist Lucky Singh's studio drummer of choice. Kevin is also a professional studio engineer/technician and graphic artist.

After auditioning for Eumeria in late 2009 on the recommendation of his friend and Eumeria guitarist Reece Fullwood, Kevin's proudest moment was when he recieved a call from Bobby Williamson to let him know that he'd been successful.
